Combining Irish Folk and his beloved Punk, ANTO MORRA
has a unique style of "London Irish Punk Folk". The debut album, Never Had to Shout, received wide critical acclaim and has been followed by multiple releases.
Regularly performing as a solo artist and with several bands, an exciting new project is in the works, which will be released next year, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the London punk movement!
ART
ANTO MORRA takes inspiration from Pop Art, Dadaism, Agit-prop and in particular recycling found objects. Transfer printing from digital images, photo montage/collage and painting and drawing are all employed in creating his unique Punkfolk Style.
Since graduating from Norwich School of Art & Design in 1999, his passion for creating bespoke pieces has led to commissioned work, exhibition appearances, and artwork available through shops, galleries, and craft fairs.
